Lion Corporation had been collecting used toothbrushes, but the collection cost was a significant burden and a challenge. Therefore, we proposed a circular scheme where the local government would cover the collection cost to reduce expenses, and in return, we would visibly reward consumers who cooperated in upcycling. As a result, we were able to reduce collection costs and create a mechanism that contributes to environmental education.

Collection and recycling of used plastic amenities.
Looking ahead to the Plastic Resource Recycling Law that will be implemented in April 2022, we have received consultations on recycling based on the concept of "collection and recycling of used plastic amenities." Through trial and error, we have not only recycled amenities but also processed them into raw materials for upcycled products (color compounds).

Collection and reuse of coffee capsules. Enjoy sustainable coffee at home.
The idea originated from a consultation on whether it was possible to recycle the coffee capsules that consumers were originally discarding. With a focus on sustainability that can be achieved at home, a flow was created that connects enjoying delicious coffee at home with a sustainable system. Through a "recycling program," the recycling of the capsule body and the design of products using recycled materials (recycled cutters) were carried out.
